Bio: Tynan is a 5-yr-old spunky red-headed girl who was found in a shelter, and taken in by rescue when her owners didn’t claim her. Tynan’s right front leg doesn’t work (shhhh – don’t tell her because she doesn’t know). She gets along just great with the other three dogs in her foster home and loves to run and go on walks. Our vet thinks her leg may have been injured when she was younger. Although it can’t be repaired, it doesn’t bother her one bit.
Tynan's got a great personality and a resilient spirit which charms everyone she meets. She loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs. Her two favorite things are toys and cuddles. She loves to take the toys out of her basket and also to use them to play tug with her foster brothers. When she’s ready for rest, she loves nothing better than to jump up on the couch or bed for a snuggle and snooze (and she has no problem jumping up or down from the bed!). Tynan is pretty curious about cats, so any cats in her forever home should be very dog-savvy. She prefers to have company most of the time, so would like a family who is home more often than not. Although long hikes might be a bit much for her, Tynan is an active girl with plenty of energy and is ready to find a forever family to love her and play with her.
