January 2011 ~ Meet Rolo

Gender: Male

Age: 3 years

Location: Los Angeles, California

Rescue Group: Golden Retriever Club of Greater
Los Angeles Rescue

Out of State Adoptions: No

Bio: Rolo is a 3-year-old male who we found in an animal shelter. A number of other potential adopters were initially interested in Rolo, but when they discovered he is missing part of his right front leg they passed him by. So Rolo came to stay with GRCGLA Rescue until he finds his forever home.

RoloRolo is a happy, energetic and entertaining pup. He gets along just fine and occasionally uses his shorter leg. He loves to run, and also enjoys his walks. He always has a smile on his face and is an inspiration to us all. Rolo loves everyone he meets and also enjoys playing with other dogs. He is looking for a home where someone is home more often than not, and if they have a playmate for him, all the better – but since he loooooves people attention, being the only pup is also just fine with him. He’d like a house where there aren’t too many stairs, as the one thing he has some difficulty with is jumping down or going down stairs. Rolo would like to go along with his people when they are out and about – he really enjoys car rides. We don’t know if he likes cats, and any kids should be at least age 7. If you want a dog who has a lot of love to give, then look no further – Rolo may be the dog for you!
