Bio: Brinkley is a 4-yr-old red golden who was rescued from a life
alone in the backyard. Every day one of our volunteers passed by Brinkley's
house and saw Brinkley. She was saddened that he was always alone and looked so
depressed and lonely. His owner had small children but no one ever came out to
play with Brinkley and he was not allowed in the house. He never got vet care or
enough food. He was so sad
that he didn't seem to want food. Maybe he had just
given up. Our volunteer talked the owner into giving Brinkley to us so we could
find him a better life. Brinkley is healthy and is an easy going guy who gets
along with other dogs and loves attention. He is submissive and sweet. He is a
bit thin but you can take care of that in no time. He seems to know the house is
to live in and outside is for play and potty breaks. He is just a super dog and
deserves a wonderful new life.

Bio: Prince is a typical Golden teenager. He loves people and is curious about everything. He injured his back foot when he was left unsupervised in the back yard and got a robe wrapped around it. He kept pulling it and it got so tight that the circulation was cut off. His owners couldn’t afford the surgery he needed, and one veterinarian said his leg would have to be taken off. We took Prince to an orthopedist, who removed two of Prince's toes, but he saved the leg. We have literally had to construct a bucket for Prince's head because he won’t leave his foot alone to heal. But he should be able to run like the wind when it is all healed. He is great with kids and other animals. Just a typical goofy Golden who has a lot of pent-up energy and just wants to run!
